Shree - Pavitra Bandhan Par Ashubh Saya, is a family drama cum love story with a strong element of supernatural weaved into the plot.
The story revolves around the Mumbai-based Raghuvanshi family fervently hopes for the marriage of their son Hari.
However, every time the family endeavors to solemnise the marriage, the proposal gets cancelled due mysterious reasons. Efforts by a family to meet Hari got cancelled 11 times, while in another instance the prospective bride died under mysterious circumstances.
According to a soothsayer, Hari's bride will have to be brave enough to fight evil forces. Shree, who meets Hari accidentally, hardly fits the bill. Scared of anything and everything, Shree is a village lass living away from the hurly burly of Mumbai.
Hari and Shree finally get married but have to constantly battle off an evil spirit trying to destroy their relationship.
